Replace or add side mount carry handles. These handles are common on Ocean Kayak brand sit-on-top kayaks but may be used on assorted makes and models, sit-in, or sit-on. Side handle make solo lifting of your kayak easy. For a new install of side handles be sure to mount at the balance point of the kayak, on the gunwales. Found on Ocean Kayak brand boats, circa 2003 to date. Use on any plastic sit-on-top kayak, not previously installed, with the enclosed rivets. Same type of handle is sometimes found on bow and stern. Comes with rivets and also screws (common size) for nuts molded into the hull. A rivet tool is need for rivets. Screws can also be used with 10-32 nuts if you can reach inside. Each handle takes FOUR Screws or Rivets. There are two oblong screw holes on each side of the handle. Screw holes are approximately .5 inch on center. Handle grip is 5 inches. Overall length is 11 inches, ends should tuck under, as shown, for best performance.
