Replace or add side mount carry handles. These handles are common on Ocean Kayak brand sit-on-top kayaks and found on many other assorted kayak makes and models, sit-in (bow-stern), or sit-on (bow-stern-side) including Emotion brand kayaks.

Each handle takes FOUR screws or rivets. There are two screw holes molded on each side of the handle (4 holes each handle). Screw holes are approximately .5 inch on center. Handle grip is 5 inches. Overall length is 11 inches, ends should tuck under, as shown, for best performance. 

Expect to clear or clean out the holes with a drill. The holes can be made oval if necessary.

Side handles make solo lifting of your kayak easy. For a new install of side handles be sure to mount at the balance point of the kayak, on the gunwales.

These are commonly found on Ocean Kayak brand boats, circa 2003 to date. Same type of handle is sometimes found in the center or on bow and stern.
