Retractable Handle Deck Fitting Kit

Best used a replacement part for kayaks outfitted with a retractable handle. Common on some Perception and Wilderness Systems kayaks. This fitting (3455-0250) is secured with a single, heavy duty, flat head, Phillips screw (3585-0408). It will guide ¼ inch bungee under the two open hooks. This fitting must be used in an indentation molded into the deck in order to work properly. (Not for custom work.) The screw secures into a nut-sert molded in the deck. Kit Contents: 1 fitting, 1 screw.

This plastic fitting is also used as the seat pull grip on some tandem kayaks. It may be fastened with a different type of screw. Re-use original screw if possible. (Alternative part numbers: Formally as a Service Kit 9800228, Screw 9800360 and Fitting 9800365)
