The out side diameter of the rim is 11 3/16 inches. The lid out side diameter is 9 5/16 inches. Practical opening is 8 inches in diameter. Comes with hinged cover, on a rim rim, plus mounting hardware. Instructions are not included with this kit. Your deck cut out will be a circle 9 7/8 inches in diameter.
