For Perception and Dagger sit-in-side kayaks, outfitted with Zone seating, circa 2006 and later. (Not a fit for Zone DLX with a pull strap.) Also found on 2008 Wilderness Systems Tarpon kayaks and some Mad River canoes as part of the CSS Seat System.
This seat back structure is 12 5/8 inches wide, 8 5/8 inches tall, with brackets in the back. It can be covered with the Zone Seat Back Cover or the CSS seat back pad if necessary.
Use two flat screw drivers, from the top edge, to gently pry open the bracket on the rear side of the Zone Seat Back Support. This will open the bracket to release the Zone Backrest Spine that has little ramp-like triangle bumps to lock it into place.
This is not a complete seat back support. Other related parts are: A Seat Bungee, the Zone Butterfly Clip (9810116 - 14830010) and the Zone Backrest Spine (9800326 - 14830017).
Web strap and pull tabs are not be included.
