Minicell Foam commonly used to customize the outfitting in a canoe or kayak. Best used for: bulkheads, dividing walls, floatation, support or comfort enhancement. Might be used to make the Dagger Alchemy Bow Wall (9800462), the Central Stern Buoyancy in Pyranha kayaks and foam pillars for classic white water kayaks by Perception. This minicell foam is easy to cut and shape to a custom size and shape. Also know as Close Cell Foam. Length: 48 in. Width: 12 in. Thickness: 3 inch.
Cut and shape to fit any need! Use a hack saw blade, dry wall saw, or band saw to cut. Fine tune shape with a Stanely Sureform Plane. A router can be used to carve relief slots. Glue with EM 89 adhesive-sealant, alternatively use DAP Weldwood contact cement for pads, Lexel for bulkheads, as well as 3M 5200 Adhesive Sealant.
