Review by Tom Holtey (Shop proprietor)
I have a couple of the “2 Yak Hanging Racks” in my kayak shed (10+ sit-on-top touring kayaks, all about 26 to 32 inches wide). The two inch wide webbing strap and the over size buckles are nice to work with. I bolted these to the steel the frame of my kayak shed. This rack does not come with any hardware, but you will be able to find the right hardware at a home improvement store, and maybe some advice too. It would be easy to blot or screw this rack to wood or masonry walls. (OK the masonry would be a bit harder.) This rack is super easy to use with two people loading it. For solo loading you will have close one loop and hold it open with something. I use a stick or a bungee cord. Then you lift the kayak and “stab” the bow into the open loop. Now you can have a hand free to secure the other loop around the kayak. Then just jockey into place as you like it.
