A Smart Track Foil Rudder Blade must be used with this housing. 
The SmartTrack Rear Mount Blade Housing with 4-Screw Bracket, installs on modern Necky, Old Town and Ocean Kayak brand kayaks with a vertical, flat section on the stern of the kayak, fitted with 4 screw holes. NOT a match to older Necky kayaks with a two-screw bracket. (Might be used on any flat stern kayak as a custom install.) This Smart Track kit will replace the black rudder shown on yellow kayak to the right.
Important: This kit comes with a mounting bracket similar to the Necky - Old Town - Ocean Kayak Rudder Bracket. The Smart Track bracket has four holes. Holes are 3/4 of an inch side to side, on center. Holes fit a range 1 1/4 to 1 5/8, top to bottom. Bottom holes are oval. Check the holes on the stern of your kayak if needed. The Smart Track 4-screw bracket can only be used with the Smart Track blade housing.
The Smart Track blade housing is Teflon coated 6061-T6 extruded alloy is extremely rugged and corrosion proof. Includes instructions and all hardware for this housing.
