The Updated 10 Inch Cobra Hinge Hatch is for cover replacement and or new installation on a flat space on deck. The out side diameter of the rim is 11 1/8 inches. The lid out side diameter is 9 7/8 inches. Practical opening is 8 1/16 inches in diameter. Comes with hinged cover, on a rim rim, and rivets. A template is no longer included with this kit. TAKE NOTE NOW! your deck cut out will be a circle 9 3/4 inches in diameter.
This can be an option to replace a missing older version Cobra 10 inch hatch cover (shown to the right). The new hinge hatch cover is NOT A FIT to the older rims. You will have to remove your old rim to use as a replacement. The cover is a permanent part of the rim! The original deck cut-out and screw holes will match up exactly. (alternative part numbers 3142, 3140 and 3141L.)
This kit contains a new rim and hinged cover with rivets. See also the bucket version of this kit, and the replacement bucket (the replacement bag is discontinued).
This Cobra Hatch can be used as a substitution for the Hobie 8 Inch Twist-N-Seal Hatch, part number 71702001. Contact us about original parts.
If out of stock this Cobra hatch (and the older discontinued version) can be substituted with the Sea-Lect 10 Inch Hatch Kit by removing the old Cobra rim and replacing with a new Sea-Lect hatch rim and cover.
