Beckson Drain Plug with Base (Fine Thread)

Fine Thread Plug. Add or replace a drain plug on your kayak. Both base and plug included, fasteners not included. (Use Self Tapping Screws or Rivets and Silicone.) The Beckson drain plug base is a common size and shape and can easily be used to replace a lost drain plug with the full assembly if the plug threads (fine threads) will not fit your existing base. (Hole size 1 inch. Oval area 1.25 inches by 2 inches.) Fits some Ocean Kayak, Islander, Bic kayaks and other brands with threads molded into the deck. Assumed to fit some Futrue Beach and Riot kayaks. The plug is equipped with a retention clip to keep it from getting lost and can be removed if necessary. (A string tied to handle or strap eye can also be used.) The plug seals with a black rubber O-Ring to prevent leaks. Silicone should be used to seal the base if installed as new or as a replacement.
