4 mm Deck Rigging Line (sold by the foot)

Replace your old perimeter ropes, or add new. Commonly used as Necky, Old Town and Ocean Kayak Rudder Rope (about 20 feet). Deck line is useful for a safety cord along each side of the kayak; make a bow harness for anchoring and towing or paddle park. Deck Line can be used for all sorts of things like bow stern tie downs for your car or as anchor rope. (This is not elastic bungee shock cord.) Approximately 3/16 inch diameter, solid core braided. Common on British sea kayaks, Necky and Wilderness Systems brand touring kayaks. Same part as 9800468.
