A boat cart will help you get your kayak to the put-in, can be used for a canoe too. When balanced in the center you will not have to lift any weight. Try a kayak carry shoulder strap for small kayaks or larger kayaks on short distances over rough terrain. A shoulder strap is best used for shorter lighter kayaks. A cart is best for larger heavier kayaks and canoes as well as small kayaks.
