Car-Top Accessories

Unless you live on the water you will have to transport your kayak by car. Use the proper tie-downs for car topping: Each kayak should be secured to the cross bars with two straps. Each kayak should be secured from the grab handle, stern and bow, to the front and back bumpers of your car. If necessary you can lock your kayak to the roof rack with a cable lock for security. See more car topping options in our Kayak Carriers Dept.
