Thigh straps are a major outfitting component of any C1 white water canoe. The Voyageur Padded Thigh Straps (same as Mad River part number 8062004 ) are made of strong, stiff 2 inch wide webbing that resists rollover or bunching. The 3 inch wide foam pads have rolled edges, add comfort and will shield thighs from webbing edges. Total lenght of strap is just over 4 feet.
These are meant to be fastened onto 4 Two Inch D-Rings (not included!) secured inside the hull of the canoe with adhesive (contact NRS for adhesive).
The independent straps for each leg allow for custom adjustment and minimize entrapment. The quick release buckles are positioned high on the straps at hip level to be accessible from any position. These straps are engineered to provide superior performance and comfort.
