Best used as kit for new installation. Comes with mounting hardware and instructions. The Six Inch Cam Lock hatch system is standard on some Ocean Kayak brand boats, as well as the Necky Vector sit-on-top kayak and Old Town TopWater (rudder access port). This can also be used as a replacement cover.
Install on any flat area, 8 inches round, on deck or in a cockpit (avoid low spots and cargo wells). The easy to open toggle makes storage in the cavity of your boat easy. Hatch rim has a foot print of eight inches OD. Deck Cut-Out is 6 3/8 inches. Screw Holes, from 6 O'Clock to Noon, are 7 1/4 on center.
Fits the Ocean Kayak Big Yak, Caper, Drifter, Frenzy, Mars, Mysto, Peekaboo, Prowler 15, Scupper Pro TW, Venus 10 and Zest Two EXP as well as the Necky Vector sit-on-top kayak and Old Town TopWater 120.
The Necky 6 in. Cam Lock Replacement Hatch Cover, part no. 07.2000.0270 and the Ocean Kayak 6 in. Cam Lock Hatch Kit, part no. 07.1922.0000 are the same hatch. The kit comes with a rim, hardware and instructions.
